Morton CTE campers arrive at The Science Spectrum in Lubbock

Day three of CTE Summer Camp took ten campers to the Science Spectrum in Lubbock.

The students spent the morning exploring and experimenting with displays and exhibits related to energy, music, light, color, sound, physics, geology, weather, and chemistry.  Especially popular with the group was the section on sports science.

Some of the boys climb the rock wall at the Science Spectrum.

After a couple of hours exploring, the students filed into the OmniMax Theater for a showing of “Into America’s Wild”.

Following the film, the group enjoyed box lunches from Jason’s Deli in the Cafeteria before checking out the museum gift shop, then heading back to Morton.

Today’s prize winner was Xavien Rodriquez, winner of a new pair of air pods.

Tomorrow the group will head to Tahoka to visit the Lynn County Hospital
