A Christmas Parade – in reverse

Santa’s workshop with some of his elves.

COVID restrictions have forced a variety of changes to classes and school activities this year.  Controlled numbers at sporting events, use of masks, social distancing, etc. have all contributed to some major changes in the manner in which our traditional activities are conducted.  The annual Christmas Parade and Lions Club Pancake Supper was no exception.

This year, instead of the traditional Christmas Parade, the school set up some Christmas scenes in the parking lot across from the Lions Club Supper at the Activity Building.  The Elementary school prepared a “Polar Express” exhibit and the Secondary school acted out Santa in his workshop.

The families were encouraged to “drive-by” and view the exhibits prior to entering the activity building for the Pancake Supper.
